Candle Care & Usage

How do I get the best burn out of my soy candle? The first time you light your Wisco Home Goods candle is the most important. To prevent "tunneling," allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the glass jar during the initial burn. This typically takes 2–3 hours and creates a "memory" for the wax, ensuring an even burn for the life of the candle.

Why should I trim the wick before every light? Trimming your wick to 1/4 inch before each use ensures a steady, controlled flame. A trimmed wick prevents excess soot and smoke, keeps the glass clean, and helps your candle last longer by slowing down the consumption of our premium soy wax.

How long should I burn my candle at one time? For safety and performance, do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Always allow the wax to cool completely before relighting or moving the jar.

Where do you ship? Wisco Home Goods currently ships to the lower 48 United States. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

What are your shipping rates? We offer flat-rate shipping, and all orders over $60 qualify for Free Shipping!
